If you are suffering from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, then you may need to modify your diet.  Reason: in many cases or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome it is important to make sure that your gut is healthy.  Reason: more that half of the immune system cells are located in the gut or close to it.  Therefore the right diet is very important.

Dietary suggestions for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome:

1.  Increase uptake of leafy green vegetables, nuts, seeds and fruits preferably organic.  They are rich in Magnesium and vitamins.

2.  Avoid foods, containing refined sugar like sodas, candies etc.

3.  Avoid Caffeine containing drinks like coffee, tea etc.  Even though caffeine stimulates your body, it is actually may cause fatigue if consumed regularly.  This fact was demonstrated experimentally (1).

Of course many other conditions can cause Chronic Fatigue Syndrome like Low Thyroid, Low Adrenals calls Adrenal Fatigue, other hormonal imbalances, Candida infection, various allergies, Lyme disease, etc., that cannot be corrected by diet alone.  To figure out what has to be done you have to find a Functional Medicine Doctor to find out the root cause of your problem and eliminate it.

Good luck!
