Mexican Serrano Peppers May Be Dangerous to Eat

The FDA has now warned the public that, along with tomatoes, serrano peppers from Mexico may be infected with the Saint Paul salmonella strain.

The same can be applied to jalapenos. The reason: apparently water from at least one Mexican farm was infected with salmonella, resulting in jalapenos and serrano pepper contamination. So at least at this time no Mexican jalapenos or serranos!
