A Surgical Cure For Overcoming Diabetes

A new surgical cure for diabetes might not be as attractive as one might think. A cure for Diabetes could change the world. And a new study from Australia suggests that now we might have just that cure. According to Dr. John Dixon from Monash University, more than two thirds of patients with Type 2 diabetes achieved remission with a surgical cure. Sounds great except one thing: bariatric surgery is required with all associated surgical risks. Therefore this may be a solution, but not for everybody.

Type 2 Diabetes as a disease known for its relation to obesity and age. This might suggest two things: first, that proper diet with weight reduction is the key, and second, that hormone level decline because of menopause or andropause may be responsible also. Of course, this cannot be applied to all cases of diabetes.

I believe that full Type 2 Diabetes remission might be achieved without surgery by proper diet as well as hormone replacement therapy (HRT) if needed. We offer our patients appropriate hormonal testing and hormonal replacement therapy (HRT) if needed. Menopause and andropause are the major treatment targets, but various dietary solutions are also available, as well as detoxification protocols. The results of treatment are monitored because such treatments should be done under physician’s supervision only.
