How much water do you need to drink every day?

Our bodies are about 80% water. Therefore an appropriate level of hydration and liquid exchange is required.People, who drink enough water, have fewer heart attacks than those who are not, because dehydration may cause blood clotting. To stay healthy you have to consume about 1/2 of your body weight in oz. every day.

Not every type of water is good – the best you can do is to drink distilled water, which will prolong life.

It is very important not to drink too much, because if you exceed your daily water limit, you may bring your sodium too low, which might be dangerous for your health. Therefore moderation is the key.
