Do you think, that testosterone is for only? When I was in the medical school I thought this way. And many people still think, that testosterone is mainly for fun. But not any more.

Recent study from Ernst-Moritz-Arndt University of Greifswald, Institute for Community Medicine suggests, that men with low testosterone levels live less longer, than those, who have higher testosterone levels.  The numbers are impressive: study involved almost 2000 men.  The result is impressive also: men with lower testosterone levels have 2.5 more chances to die within 10 years, then men with high testosterone levels.

Another study, presented to The Endocrine Society’s 90th Annual Meeting in San Francisco, showed, that if a man has low testosterone level, then  he would benefit from testosterone replacement therapy.

Bottom line: bio identical hormone replacement therapy for men may prolong life.
