There is an unconfirmed rumor, that Wyeth Pharmaceutical is requesting FDA to approve its new antidepressant Pristiq for hot flashes secondary to menopause. So instead of hormone replacement therapy our women will get another antidepressant? Does it make any sense to you? Not to me. I think, that primary menopause treatment should be hormones, not chemicals.
