Botox is expensive. We all know that. Shall we expect prices to go down? Maybe.Because a new drug Relaxin with similar effects is waiting for FDA approval. Will the advent of competitor drug bring prices down? Hard to predict right now, because in my opinion Relaxin may compete with Botox only if it is as good as Botox. But we do not know how good is Relaxin is, and even if it is as good, it has to prove it. It takes time. So I do not expect Botox prices going down soon. And may be we should look for natural ways to improve skin condition like bioidentical hormone replacement? It may be cheaper.
