Hair loss may be very embarrassing.  Especially if it goes fast. And if the most common causes like low iron and low thyroid are ruled out. And steroid creams are not helping. Than what else can be done? The next step is to check estrogen level, because estrogen is helping in hair growth. Therefore low estrogen level can be the reason for hair loss. Especially if your age or family history are suggestive of menopause. And it is very simple: just get blood work done — and in a few days you will know, if low estrogen is the reason for our hair loss. And it it is, then hormone replacement therapy including estrogen may be an option.anti aging, health, hair loss, alopecia, hormone replacement therapy, estrogen, low estrogen, menopause
